Job Summary
Sterile Processing Equipment Technician 2 - Temp/Traveler role at Norwalk Hospital Association. Performs decontamination, sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and supplies; uses a computerized tracking system; prepares case carts; ensures compliance with AAMI standards; maintains inventory of sterile and nonsterile supplies; mentors new employees; available for day/evening shifts Monday–Friday (7:00 am–3:30 pm) with every-other-weekend coverage; requires SPD licensure and CBSPD/HSPA Certification; and a minimum HS diploma with at least three years of sterile processing experience.
