Job Summary
Sterile Processing Business Development Representative (SPD BDR) responsible for identifying and pursuing new SPD business opportunities, developing relationships with Sterile Processing Department Managers and Supervisors, conducting discovery meetings and product demonstrations, creating tailored proposals, negotiating terms, and driving end-to-end sales cycles. The role requires a proactive hunter mindset, strong B2B sales background, ability to research market opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain CRM records, and travel up to 50% (local and some air travel). The candidate should have a high school diploma, 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, CRCST certification, and a proven network of SPD relationships; IAHCSMM certification and Sterile Processing Technician/Manager experience are preferred but not required. Proficiency with ERP & CRM tools and excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience
- CRCST Certification required
- IAHCSMM certification and Sterile Processing Technician or Manager experience preferred but not required
- Proven network of existing SPD relationships
- Technical knowledge of labels, ribbon, or equivalent industry experience (preferred)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Travel locally by car as well as some air travel up to 50% of time
- Proficiency with ERP & CRM tools
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
