Job Summary
Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment while maintaining strict infection control standards. Collect and decontaminate used instruments, operate sterilization machinery, and prepare procedure rooms for surgeries. Distribute sterile supplies to support patient care. Identify damaged items and report them for repair. Requires at least one year of sterile processing experience and a preferred Certified Sterile Processing Technician License. Schedule includes 24-hour coverage with shift differentials for night hours.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of sterile processing or surgical technician experience
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician License preferred
- 2+ years of veterinary experience preferred
