Stepdown - Clinical Nurse

Stepdown - Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care. Promotes patient and family centered care, educates patients and families on illness/injury management and post-treatment home care, and medications administration. Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and in professional development. Develops and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver, ensuring clear communication of the plan across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, culture, and population-specific needs. Must be able to work in a safety-sensitive role. Education includes Nursing Diploma/Associate's; preferred Bachelor's degree. Sign-on bonus offered. Location in Saint Louis, Missouri, USA.
