Job Summary

This apprenticeship position provides Nisqually Tribal members with hands-on learning in the Slots Department, aiming to develop skills for future roles such as Slot Supervisor. Responsibilities include selling slot tickets, providing customer assistance on gaming machines, troubleshooting basic machine issues, and ensuring superior guest service. Candidates must be willing to learn, work under supervision, and acquire a Class III Gaming License. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Nisqually Tribal Member
  • Willingness to study toward and earn a GED or high school diploma
  • Ability to learn all aspects of the Slot Attendant Department
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures, accept guidance, and correct actions
  • Ability to learn and use basic computer skills
  • Ability to work within time constraints and stay on task
  • Ability to learn communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
  • Positive guest service and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License
