Job Summary
Step-Down RN (PCU/Telemetry) at a Greensburg, PA hospital. Night shift, full-time. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and evaluating patient care with age-specific and specialty-focused nursing, following physician orders, maintaining patient privacy, adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques, collecting lab samples, performing admissions/discharges/transfers, assembling equipment for procedures, and performing quality assessment activities. Requires 2+ years RN experience in Telemetry/ICU or related roles; Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma; PA RN license; BLS/ACLS (PALS preferred); Act 33/73 clearances. Required Qualifications
- Associatea Degree or Nursing Diploma required
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years combination experience in related healthcare positions
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required; PALS strongly preferred
- Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance) and Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) completed within last 5 years, or must be obtained prior to start date
