Step Dance Instructor (Part Time, In-Person)

Step Dance Instructor needed to design and implement a step dance curriculum for elementary students, lead engaging sessions focusing on rhythm, coordination, and teamwork, create a safe and stimulating learning environment, assess student progress, collaborate with school staff, track and document progress, and communicate program highlights to stakeholders. Must oversee equipment maintenance, develop engaging lesson plans, and foster a collaborative, inclusive classroom culture that supports physical fitness, rhythm, and group coordination. Ideal candidates have strong instructional, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and content-knowledge skills, with experience in teaching or performing step dance and the ability to tailor instruction for diverse learners. This is a part-time, in-person role based in Brooklyn, NY, with approximately one hour weekly commitment.
