Job Summary
Conduct tutoring sessions for grades K–8 in reading, mathematics, and writing within school buildings, assisting classroom teachers with students needing additional support. Deliver instruction on robotics, coding, and 3D imaging topics while providing homework assistance in small groups or one-on-one settings. This role operates Monday through Friday from 3pm–6pm and requires an associates degree, prior teaching or tutoring experience, and completion of specific child safety workshops. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States, possess the physical ability to lift 30 pounds and navigate stairs, and hold a Department of Education fingerprint clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Teaching assistant or experience working with students
- Fingerprinting by Department of Education required
- Completion of SAVE School and Child Abuse Workshop
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Work location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs
- Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head
- Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer
- Applicants must be presently eligible to work in the United States
