Job Summary
Lead and inspire students in STEAM and sports activities, teaching fundamentals from basic to advanced levels while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. Implement programs including Python & Scratch Coding, Robotics, Math, Literacy, Creative Arts, Music, Animation, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Street Hockey, Flag Football, and Cheerleading. Manage classes for students in grades K-8, ensuring each child progresses at their own pace within a safe, fun environment. Wage: $36/hour. Part-time role available every Monday, 3:15 PM to 4:30 PM, starting September 14, 2026. Requires 1-2 years of experience in STEM, Arts, or Sports, current government ID, and ability to pass a background check. Must be willing to undergo additional training and lift 20-50 lbs occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in STEM, Arts, and/or Sports subject areas
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring
- Excellent class management skills
- Ability to work effectively with students in grades K-8
- Must possess a current, government issued photo identification, such as a valid driver's license or state ID
- Must have dependable transportation
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 20-50 lbs. occasionally
- Willingness to undergo additional training as required
