Job Summary
Mentor students in creative problem-solving through design thinking, engineering, robotics, and fabrication-based learning. Oversee operations of ATAL Tinkering Labs, Robotics Labs, and Maker Spaces, managing equipment maintenance, safety, budgeting, inventory, and volunteer coordination. Design, develop, and implement innovative projects and prototypes for students, schools, and industry collaborations. Plan and organize workshops, events, and competitions to promote student engagement and showcase innovations. Represent labs and maker spaces to visitors, partners, donors, and external organizations while tracking program progress and recommending continuous improvements. This role integrates 21st-century skills across the STEM curriculum for all grade levels, supporting innovative classroom practices through educational technology and hands-on learning.
