Job Summary
STEM-focused Elementary School Teacher responsible for providing diverse learning opportunities through real-world projects with a STEM emphasis, integrating 1:1 technology, revising curriculum to meet STEM requirements, and collaborating with other STEM teachers. Duties include assessing student progress and communicating feedback to students and parents, participating in staff meetings and professional development, supervising students during activities and field trips, adapting instructional methods to meet varying needs, maintaining accurate attendance, grades, and behavior records, and complying with district/state policies and ethical teaching standards. The role requires standing/walking during instruction, ability to operate classroom technology, and capacity to manage classroom safety and physical demands.
