Job Summary
Lead the Saturday STEM and technology program for children ages 6–11 or 8–14, instructing classes of up to 12 students solo or 25 with an assistant. Deliver hands-on lessons in coding, robotics, Minecraft, Roblox, video game creation, and digital arts while managing equipment transfers between sites. Complete 10 weeks of paid training at your own pace via an online portal before beginning instruction. Earn $21–$26 per hour with opportunities for future supervisory advancement. Required Qualifications
- Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available to work all 10 weeks
- 21 years of age or older
- College graduates with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields
- Ability to lead a class of up to 12 kids solo and 25 kids with an assistant in a classroom setting
- Ability to manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed for various classes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with children in an educational setting
- Strong technology skills such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox
- Experience teaching kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
- Graduating college seniors with student teaching experience
- Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
- Significant relevant work experience
