Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills, and Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students across 80+ program collections. Prepare daily lesson plans, manage supplied materials, and administer accommodations while fostering critical thinking and joy in the learning process. Engage in professional communication with Program Success Managers and participate in family engagement efforts including welcome letters and showcases. Maintain full compliance with site expectations and arrive prepared for scheduled sessions. This part-time role supports youth in Pasadena, CA, from August 31 to December 14, with classes held Monday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree (or higher)
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to complete mandatory training
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
