Job Summary
Instruct STEM after-school enrichment sessions for 1 hour each week (8-10 weeks) using a preset curriculum. Deliver high-energy, hands-on science activities that engage 4-12 year-olds, combining entertainment with education. Requires availability for at least two weekdays after 2 p.m., reliable transportation, and completion of background checks. Training and all curriculum materials are provided; position is part-time with a flexible schedule and uniform provisioning. Training is provided for the assigned curriculum; the role emphasizes interactive teaching, student engagement, and a positive, outgoing personality.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with groups of elementary-age children (4-12) preferred
- Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
- Must have reliable transportation that is not public or ride share
- All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks (required)
- Some college
- Have a fun & outgoing personality
