Job Summary
Guide K-6 students through project-based learning in coding, Minecraft, Roblox, and digital arts during after-school sessions from 2:00 to 5:00, M-F. Manage a 12-to-1 teacher-to-student ratio while facilitating hands-on activities in robotics, game design, and video editing. Transport equipment weighing up to 25 pounds daily and participate in rolling summer opportunities for up to 35 hours weekly. Earn $20 to $28 hourly with paid training. No formal experience required, though a background in technology or teaching is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation throughout Saugus school district
- Must be available after school hours (approximately 2:00 - 5:00), M-F
- Lead Instructors must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to transport equipment weighing up to 25 pounds daily as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with technology or teaching preferred
- Experience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technology
- Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working with teacher-to-student ratios of 12/1
- Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc.
- significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding or streaming
