Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and validation of automotive motor mounts and subframes, overseeing product life cycles from concept through production launch. Collaborate with suppliers, engineering teams, and internal departments to define requirements, ensure on-time delivery, and integrate solutions into vehicle platforms. Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and performance metrics while evaluating new technologies and preparing technical documentation for design reviews and customer meetings. Mentor engineers and designers, support root cause analysis for product issues, and ensure compliance with global automotive regulations including FMVSS, ECE, and SAE standards.
Required Qualifications
- Related Degree in Engineering field
- 10+ years of experience in chassis systems, especially motor mount and subframe design and development
- Strong knowledge of wheel and tyre technologies, regulations, and manufacturing processes
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Experience working with CAD, simulation tools, and other common office and engineering software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams
- Experience working with global automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
- Knowledge of other chassis systems and components, particularly bushes and suspension systems
