Job Summary
Unload in-bound material, load out-bound material, and distribute steel to various fabrication areas. Operate applicable equipment efficiently and safely with minimal supervision while following all company safety and quality requirements. Communicate verbally and non-verbally with team members and read tape measures in both imperial and metric systems. Work in all weather conditions including wind, heat, cold, rain, and snow. Maintain prompt and dependable attendance, working flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed. High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to efficiently and safely operate applicable equipment to unload, load and distribute material with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate with team members verbally and non-verbally
- Ability to work efficiently in all forms of weather (wind, heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed
- Prompt and dependable attendance
- Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric)
- Ability to work with others
