Job Summary
Unload inbound material, load outbound material, and distribute steel and other items across the site using overhead cranes and forklifts. Operate applicable equipment efficiently and safely with minimal supervision while following all company safety and quality requirements. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including wind, heat, cold, rain, and snow. Communicate verbally and non-verbally with team members and demonstrate strong organizational and material identification skills. Maintain prompt, dependable attendance and accept full responsibility for actions. Forklift certification and overhead crane experience are preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed
- Prompt and dependable attendance
- Exhibit strong skills in material identification
- Exhibit strong organizational skills
- Possess basic computer skills
- Plan and organize work to meet deadlines
- Understand and follow oral and written directions
- Read a tape measure (imperial and metric)
- Work with others
- Accountability –accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Accuracy – Perform work accurately and thoroughly
