Job Summary
Read and interpret working plans and steel lists to set out work instructions. Cut steel bars or mesh to required lengths using bolt cutters, guillotines, and power saws. Assemble reinforcing bars or mesh by welding, wiring, or clipping into predetermined concrete locations. Fabricate steel reinforcement as beams, footing pads, or special units. Join prefabricated units for large sections of high-rise or civil projects and position reinforcement ready for concrete pours. Must be physically fit and able to work as part of the team with at least 1-3 years of relevant experience. Local hiring requires QID and NOC or Secondment for at least 6 months.
