Job Summary
Lead and supervise crews in the erection of pre-engineered metal buildings, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing multiple projects, coordinating crew activities, and managing equipment and crane operations. Approve timecards, track labor productivity, and maintain necessary documentation. Train and mentor crew members, participate in hiring and performance reviews, and communicate project updates.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in steel erection or metal building construction
- Proven experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work
- Experience working with cranes and signaling hoisting operations
- Comfortable working at heights 50–100+ feet
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced, multi-crew environments
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle
- OSHA 10 (required or ability to obtain)
