Job Summary
Lead site steel erection operations with responsibility for manpower and equipment planning, coordinating, supervising, and ensuring safety measures are followed. Manage crew productivity and meeting project schedules; conduct weekly safety meetings; develop a 3-week look-ahead schedule; participate in on-site safety, quality, scheduling, and production meetings; issue corrective action notices as required to enforce guidelines; read specifications and blueprints to determine locations, quantities, and sizes of materials.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak and understand English in oral and written form
- Knowledge of proper rigging and signaling
- Knowledge of proper use of transit, laser level, torpedo, torque guns, welders, gas equipment
- Knowledge of AISC
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
