Job Summary
Execute the design, analysis, and evaluation of steam turbine component projects for Conversion, Modification, and Upgrade (CM&U) initiatives. Independently deliver steam turbine solutions for unique and complex applications, ensuring alignment with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives. Apply engineering expertise to resolve technical issues, propose solutions within established parameters, and support continuous improvement by recommending better technical approaches based on field learnings. Coach newer engineers through knowledge sharing and informal guidance on steam turbine principles while creating and sharing technical resources and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
- Solid experience in design, service, maintenance, or operations of large rotating, industrial equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in steam turbine components, steam turbine design, or related mechanical systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
