Job Summary
STEAM Teacher will deliver STEAM instruction through project-based learning and collaborate with a dynamic team to provide STEAM experiences to students; responsibilities include facilitating developmentally appropriate STEAM activities, weaving technology, science, engineering, and mathematics into lessons, and assessing student learning while maintaining a safe environment. Qualifications include certified teaching credentials, a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Science/STEAM or related field, proficiency with Google Suite, strong communication, and the ability to plan, differentiate, and assess effectively; the role emphasizes instructional leadership and alignment with Renaissance Academy’s vision, with expectations for regular collaboration with families and team members.
Required Qualifications
- Certified teacher
- Bachelor's Degree( Mathematics and/or Science and/or STEAM preferred or related field of study)
- Delivers STEAM-oriented instruction through Project-Based Learning methods
- Create engaging lessons that integrate technology, science and engineering
- Demonstrates a vested interest in the success, future and Vision of Renaissance Academy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Pedagogical skills in literacy and numeracy
