Job Summary
Design and implement engaging lessons that integrate art and STEM concepts, aligned with state standards and school objectives. Provide instructional support by teaching art techniques and basic STEM concepts through hands-on projects, while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Use educational technology to enhance learning, assess student progress with formative and summative methods, and communicate with teachers and parents. Collaborate with staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and participate in professional development, while maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment and adhering to safety policies. No supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Texas instructional aide certificate
- 2 years’ experience working with children
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools
