STC-Afterschool Tutor: Certified

Conduct guided independent reading practice, daily read-alouds, and fluency-building activities during after school and summer programs. Collaborate with the Literacy Coordinator to plan activities, administer pre and post STAR Reading tests, and organize the Accelerated Reader library. Incorporate weekly planning time to review diagnostic reports and address individual children's needs. Attend mandatory training on best practices for reading interventions. This role supports Save the Children's in-school and after school literacy initiatives.
