STC-Afterschool Tutor: Certified

Conduct guided independent reading practice, daily read-alouds, and fluency-building activities during after school and summer programs. Collaborate with the Literacy Coordinator to plan activities, organize the Accelerated Reader library, and review diagnostic reports. Administer pre and post STAR Reading tests for all children in in-school and after school programs. Incorporate one hour of weekly planning time and address individual student needs through coordinated solutions. Attend required training on best practices for literacy blocks and fluency building.
