Job Summary
Statutory Manager leads the statutory reporting and audit management function within the EMEA Center of Excellence, overseeing a 13-person statutory team across Budapest and Manila. Duties include end-to-end statutory reporting from group close to local statutory financial statements, providing hands-on subject-matter expertise, and partnering with Country Controllers, auditors, tax teams, and EMEA finance leadership. The role drives standardization and continuous improvement of statutory processes, oversees audit lifecycle with external auditors, ensures compliance with local GAAP across multiple jurisdictions, and supports process automation and regional finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong advisory capabilities, able to manage multiple priorities in a multinational environment and to deliver accurate, timely statutory deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred; CPA or ACCA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in statutory reporting, accounting, or controllership within a multinational environment
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-location teams; SSC/GBS experience preferred
- Strong technical expertise in statutory accounting and local GAAP requirements
- Hands-on management with advisory and review capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and geographies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of internal controls and compliance
