Statutory Accounting Analyst

Job Summary
Prepare accurate and timely statutory financial statements for NIQ operating companies, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. Monitor regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions, file information with local company houses, and coordinate audit materials with auditors to facilitate the audit process. Perform reconciliations of statutory reports to internal records, resolve discrepancies identified in management letters, and collaborate with controllers to gather information and deliver high-quality financial reports. Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies in statutory reporting workflows.
Required Qualifications
- A qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA
- Minimum 2 years' experience in statutory accounting or in a related financial reporting role for more than one country
- Familiarity with international financial reporting standards and local regulations
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting software
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail in preparing financial statements and reports
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and support team members across various levels and functions
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment
