Job Summary
Develop scoring rules and algorithms for existing clinical outcome assessment (COA) measures, including generating standard documentation, simulation datasets, and domain scoring. Implement new statistical features for random data generation and advanced capabilities in user tools like Insights Hub and PROCore. Conduct classical and modern psychometric analyses, meaningful thresholds, and time series modeling for high-frequency digital health data. Collaborate with data scientists to validate algorithms and verify digital measure performance across diverse datasets and devices. Support the COA Accelerator team as a subject matter expert, review content for client subscriptions, and participate in scientific thought exchanges. Publish research papers in medical journals and represent IQVIA at internal and external conferences. This entry-level role reports to the Statistics and Psychometrics Lead within IQVIA's ILS & PASS team, focusing on patient-centered research and digital health technologies.
Required Qualifications
- statistical and psychometric research skills
- strong computer skills (including SAS and R)
- advanced degree in statistics or psychometrics
- interest in patient-centered research (including COA and/or DHT) and clinical research (pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry)
- Candidates must be able to: (a) work within a team environment, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- confidently communicate with, and effectively present information to, internal and external teams
- work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
- accurate perception of speech
- repetitive motion of fingers
