Job Summary
Empirically develop scoring rules and program scoring algorithms for existing clinical outcome assessment (COA) measures, including generating standard documentation and simulation datasets. Provide statistical support for new COA measure development by conducting classical and modern psychometric analyses, modeling high-frequency digital health technology data, and validating algorithms across diverse devices. Support the COA Accelerator tool as a subject matter expert for scoring and client subscriptions while collaborating cross-functionally with non-statisticians. Publish research papers in medical journals and represent IQVIA at internal and external conferences to advance thought leadership in patient-centered solutions.
Required Qualifications
- statistical and psychometric research skills
- strong computer skills (including SAS and R)
- advanced degree in statistics or psychometrics
- interest in patient-centered research (including COA and/or DHT) and clinical research (pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry)
- Candidates must be able to: (a) work within a team environment, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- confidently communicate with, and effectively present information to, internal and external teams
- work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
- accurate perception of speech
- repetitive motion of fingers
- sit for extended periods of time (daily)
- travel as required (<10%)
Desired Qualifications
- extensive familiarity and demonstrable experience with AI tools and their application to the topics mentioned above
- Consulting experience with pharmaceutical companies
