Statistical Programmer (m/w/d)

Job Summary
Develop scoring rules and program algorithms for existing Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) measures, including generating standard documentation, simulation datasets, and Data Quality Evaluations. Implement new statistical features for random data generation and advanced capabilities in user tools like Insights Hub and PROCore. Program classical and modern psychometric analyses, high-frequency digital health technology data, and collaborate with data scientists to validate algorithm performance across diverse devices. Work cross-functionally with non-statisticians to ensure sound scientific principles permeate research.
Required Qualifications
- statistical and psychometric research skills
- strong computer skills, including Base SAS with macro
- R skills
- API experience
- Connecting to databases with SAS/R
- programming with validation/QC in a regulated environment
- excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills
- critical attention and accuracy with details
- strong individual initiative, organizing skills, and commitment to quality
- ability to work within a team environment
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- ability to confidently communicate with, and effectively present information to, internal and external teams
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
- advanced degree in statistics or psychometrics
- experience in statistical programming
- interest in patient-centered research (including COA and/or DHT) and clinical research (pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry)
- ability to use telephone [and face-to-face] communication extensively, requiring accurate perception of speech
- ability to use a keyboard extensively, requiring repetitive motion of fingers
- ability to sit for extended periods of time (daily)
- ability to travel as required (<10%)
Desired Qualifications
- experience with AI tools and their application to the topics mentioned above
- Connecting to databases with SAS/R, and programming with validation/QC in a regulated environment
- Consulting experience with pharmaceutical companies
