Statistical Modeling & Simulation Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Job Summary
Conduct advanced statistical analysis, develop predictive models, and analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for organizational decision-making. Design dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations to communicate key performance metrics while supporting forecasting, workload analysis, and resource planning activities. Prepare executive briefings, technical reports, and presentation materials that convey analytical findings, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, and ensure data integrity through validation and quality assurance. Manage multiple analytical projects to meet established deadlines and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 12 years of project, program management, or related professional experience
- Minimum of 8 years conducting analytical and support activities
- Minimum of 5 years of experience performing statistical analysis, statistical modeling, simulation, predictive analytics, or related quantitative analysis
- Demonstrated experience using Python, R, SAS, or another statistical programming language to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience developing dashboards, visualizations, and executive-level reporting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex datasets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Federal Government programs
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence and visualization platforms
- Experience developing predictive models, forecasting models, or simulation methodologies
- Knowledge of operational research, statistical forecasting, or decision science techniques
- Experience supporting executive-level reporting and strategic planning initiatives
- Experience with cost analysis, financial modeling, or resource planning
