Statistical Analyst

Job Summary
Create custom analytics and reporting deliverables for McLean & Company members using R, Python, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint to clean data, update scripts, and format polished reports. Conduct analyses on survey data for the Diagnostics and HR Research teams by extracting and merging data from Engagement, New Hire, and Exit diagnostics. Identify opportunities to improve reporting by recommending clearer displays and enhanced calculations that support validity and action-oriented insights. Provide an additional layer of quality assurance, troubleshoot data-related problems, and act as a technical resource for data questions. Learn and work with McLean & Company's proprietary survey platforms while participating in ongoing data collection, cleaning, and process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics) or in Human Resources, Sociology, or Psychology with strong quantitative/statistical coursework
- Proficiency with R and/or Python
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience and comfort in a customer service environment

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree is an asset but not required
- Proficiency with SQL and Git
- Experience with employee lifecycle surveys
- Experience or exposure to HR data and People Analytics
