Job Summary
Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, and rear view cameras are clean. Safely operate stationary equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, front-end loaders, sweepers, or balers while monitoring waste for hazards like smoldering or fire. Load transfer trucks with front-end loaders, pack down waste to regulate tonnage, and deposit materials into appropriate piles. Perform and document minor service on equipment, report necessary repairs to the supervisor, and complete required reports. Follow all safety policies and procedures while adhering to the work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working at sites regulated by OSHA
- Valid certificate(s) of training and applicable licenses for operation of equipment, as required
