Job Summary
Maintain hospital buildings and plant engineering equipment in safe, inhabitable conditions, managing heat, light, power, air conditioning, and environmental factors. Overhaul, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on all engineering plant equipment with minimal assistance from the Plant Manager. Execute shift engineer duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities while responding to customer needs in accordance with hospital mission and SPIRIT values. Requires fleet safety knowledge and familiarity with building management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred High School Diploma
- 2-4 years Minimum of three (3) years of training in a trade apprenticeship program, industrial program, commercial or hospital industry in any of the major fields I.E. Electrical, HVAC, Boiler Operations Knowledge required, building management system knowledge. Required
- Fleet safety required
