Job Summary
Stationary Engineer (4th Class) responsible for operation and maintenance of mechanical systems under the contract, including pumps, AHUs, fans, unit heaters, and related equipment. Responsibilities include start-up/shutdown of building systems, use of Building Automation System, maintaining operating logs, completing PM tasks and preventive maintenance, maintenance of fans, AHUs, chillers, heat pumps, compressors, and related components; executing corrective work orders, documenting notes and parts usage, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, responding to service calls (including after-hours), cross-training in other facilities, reporting to Contract Manager, and assisting with commissioning of new or updated equipment. Must ensure proper PPE usage, keep mechanical rooms clean, verify PSPC asset numbers, and use company vehicle for parts pickup. Competency requirements include Change Orientation, Effective Communication, Customer Focus, and Problem Solving and Innovation. Education requirement: 4th Class Power Engineer certificate. Experience: 3-5 years in related duties. Bilingual ability (English; French an asset) and ability to obtain Secret security clearance are preferred. Wage rate follows the 787 Union Agreement schedule.
