Job Summary
Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner, including loaders, haul trucks, skid steer loaders, water trucks, graders, man lifts, dozers, and excavators. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment while communicating plant site issues with the Foreman and Mine Management. Assist in plant maintenance and repairs, including labor work, cutting, fabricating, and welding. Maintain a clean and orderly work site by shoveling and operating a skid steer for cleanup. Follow proper safety procedures, including incident reporting, and work varied hours including early mornings and weekends in variable weather conditions. Based at a stationary mine in Waukesha, WI.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience
- Valid Driver's License
- satisfactory driving record
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Have the ability to work varied hours early mornings, and weekends as needed
- Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions
- work in dirty and dusty environments
- Member of the appropriate trade union
- willingness to become a union member
- Willing to obtain CDL with Tanker within 1 year of employment
Desired Qualifications
