Job Summary
Lead station operations at a 24/7 maintenance station, overseeing aircraft line maintenance, GSE assets, training, compliance, and customer contract management. Manage day-to-day operations across shifts, ensure FAA/OSHA/environmental compliance, support on-time aircraft serviceability, supervise technicians, coordinate staffing and invoicing, track calibration and tool assets, and drive KPIs for profitability and customer satisfaction. Requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and experience in multi-department coordination within aviation maintenance. FAA A&P license, 5+ years of maintenance experience, and security clearances (SIDA) are required. Expected schedule: 5 days, 8-hour shifts; location: San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Valid FAA A&P license
- 5+ years of commercial aircraft line maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Pre-employment drug screening
- FBI background check
- Airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal clearance
