Job Summary
Manage and work with livestock, utilizing software to record movements, weights, and treatments. Execute paddock rotations and pasture management while performing general farm duties such as fencing, water runs, and maintenance. Operate farming machinery for regular maintenance and apply agricultural chemicals. This role requires a physically fit individual with demonstrated livestock handling experience and a sound knowledge of agricultural chemicals. A current driver's licence is required, with an HR licence preferred. The position offers on-farm accommodation, training opportunities, and above award rates in a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in livestock handling (Sheep)
- Experience in farm machinery operation
- A sound knowledge and understanding of the use of Agricultural chemicals
- A current driver's licence
- A history of being self-motivated
- A reliable team player
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication
- Physically fit
