Job Summary
Perform maintenance, testing, and inspection of energized and de-energized generation, transmission, and distribution facilities; assist in emergency response to restore service; select prints and use test equipment like voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and insulation megger; service transformers, circuit breakers, portable substations, and rotating machinery; install/maintain station infrastructure, read gauges, and conduct start-run-stop tests on generators and motors; contribute to safety training and compliance as required by company rules.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in electrical/mechanical/industrial maintenance technology or equivalent education and/or experience
- Equivalent education and experience is limited to military training and work experience of technical/technician nature (such as aviation and nuclear instrumentation technician)
- No previous work experience required
