Job Summary
Part-time Station Assistant and BLS transport EMT to support station operations and provide BLS care during interfacility and discharge transports in Bend, OR. Responsibilities include maintaining station cleanliness and readiness, performing daily readiness checks on transport equipment and supplies, restocking ambulances and medical bags, assisting with patient loading/unloading, coordinating with medical facilities and Dispatch, documenting care for medical records, attending safety meetings, and assisting with administrative duties, onboarding new hires, and ongoing training. Requires current Oregon EMT certification, CPR/BLS certification, a clean driving record, strong communication and teamwork, familiarity with ambulance transports, and the ability to lift and move patients safely.
Required Qualifications
- Current Oregon State EMT certification
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Familiarity with ambulance transport, medical equipment, and protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical fitness to manage the demands of the job
- Capability to lift and move patients safely
