Job Summary
Static Equipment Works Supervisor overseeing mechanical works on static equipment (vessels, separators, tanks, columns, reactors, heaters, heat exchangers, etc.) from installation through commissioning, ensuring work conforms to the project plan, budget, drawings, specifications, and applicable international codes and standards. Responsible for verifying proper execution of mechanical works, supporting construction and pre-commissioning tests with quality-control documentation, validating progress, identifying and closing punch lists related to static equipment, and providing technical field support and solutions. Requires deep knowledge of static equipment and project controls, QA/QC in construction, material quantity measurement, and strong coordination and safety focus.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years in mechanical activities in Oil & Gas, Energy, Refinery or process plants (installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up)
- At least 3 years of experience supervising subcontractors
- Knowledge of QA/QC systems applied to construction
- Knowledge of measurement methodologies and material quantities for progress tracking
- Strong coordination, operational problem solving, and attention to quality, schedule, and safety
