Staten Island Preparatory Preschool Special Education Teacher Assistant

Assist the teacher in daily activities in a preschool Special Education classroom and participate in the implementation of daily schedules and lesson plans aligned to NYS Prekindergarten Foundation for the Common Core Standards. Demonstrate appropriate teaching techniques, including prompting, pacing, and reinforcement strategies, while implementing methods that facilitate concept generalization and promote socialization. This role supports school readiness goals informed by authentic assessment data and IEP objectives within a 10-month program including a 30-day summer session. Spanish speaking is a plus.
