State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) under supervision provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities, including responding to signal lights, assisting with grooming, bathing, feeding, ROM, turning/positioning, ambulation, and taking/recording vitals; requires CNA certification in the state of employment and high school diploma or equivalent preferred; six months long-term care experience preferred; strong communication skills and ability to react decisively in emergencies emphasized.
