Job Summary
Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs. Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care. Obtain food trays and assist with feeding. Perform range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas. Assist with turning and positioning in bed and ambulation for short distances. Take and record vital signs, food, and fluid intake and output as directed. Work the night shift (6p-6a) or weekend warrior shift (6a-6p).
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
