Job Summary
Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs. Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care. Obtain food trays and assist with feeding. Support range of motion exercises, turning, positioning, and short-distance ambulation. Record vital signs and intake/output as directed. Perform other tasks as assigned. This role is part of Arbors at Marietta, one of Ohio's largest long-term care providers, where a positive culture fosters employee growth and patient-centered care. Starting wages range from $18.00 to $21.75 per hour with flexible pay options.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
