Job Summary
Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs, then assist with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care. Obtain food trays and assist with feeding, while supporting range of motion exercises and movement to activity areas. Perform turning, positioning, and short-distance ambulation as required. Take and record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, along with food and fluid intake and output. Provide basic nursing assistance and daily living support under supervision. This role supports residents at Arbors at Fairlawn, one of Ohio's largest providers of long-term care and rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
