Job Summary
State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide hands-on and emotional resident care in a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, feeding and daily living support, performing basic treatments as directed by the charge nurse, observing and reporting residents’ needs, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Must use nursing home equipment safely, follow OSHA guidelines, attend in-service training, and assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Nursing. Requires ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and manage interpersonal interactions; prior STNA program completion or enrollment with completion within four months is required.
