Job Summary
Compassionate full-time hospice aide in the Youngstown market providing personal care under the direction of a registered nurse, including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and observation of patient skin; document care and report deviations to the Case Manager; assist with ambulation and transfers; take vital signs; participate in QAPI activities and IDG meetings; use durable medical equipment safely; must have Ohio STNA registry status, 1 year of CNA/hospice/home health aide experience, be at least 18, possess a valid driver’s license, and communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Must be listed in good standing on the Ohio State Nurse Aide registry
- One year experience as a CNA, hospice aide or home health aide (Hospice preferred)
- At least 18 years old
- Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
- Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
