Job Summary
State Product Manager-Nonstandard Auto responsible for developing and implementing Personal Lines Nonstandard Auto product plans to meet annual premium and profit goals, and for taking responsibility for loss and expense results. Lead cross-functional collaboration to adapt products to regulatory landscapes, coordinate with Analytics, Actuarial, Claims, and Compliance, and drive market-entry or enhancements. The role involves leveraging expert knowledge of state markets, developing coverage solutions and contract language, and communicating strategic plans to internal partners while managing regulatory filings. Hybrid work arrangement with options to work from Stevens Point, Madison, or Nashville, and travel as required. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years in related Personal Lines work (5+ years preferred); travel capable; visa-restriction note indicates no employment for F-1/J-1/H-1 visa holders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years related Personal Lines work experience, 5+ years of related work experience preferred
- Prior insurance and product management, product development, or business management experience
- Superior leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills with proven ability to effectively communicate, develop relationships, and make data driven decisions
- Ability to meet travel requirements of the position
